Why socks?
Cold weather is coming. Socks are one of the least donated items. We here at Eastern Indiana Federal Credit Union want to show that even the smallest act of caring, like donating a pair of new socks, can help make a huge difference in the lives of our neighbors.
You can help pay it forward and join us in “People Helping People”. Donate new socks (children or adult size) to help those in need. Socks can be dropped off at our office. We will share your sock donations with families in need through area community organizations. It’s our privilege to give back to these incredible organizations that strengthen our community and help people grow and gain confidence.
In 2023, we collected 633 pairs of socks! These socks were donated to New Castle Foster Closet and Kiwanis Club of Henry County and go to kids in Henry County schools!
